Meet Mike Sabatino - Current Township Supervisor

Hi, I'm Mike Sabatino!
I am married to my wife, Kim, for 33 years, a US Army Veteran, a Grand Haven graduate, and have served as an Associate Pastor at the same church for 24 years,. Before my current role, I ran a construction business which I retired to work for the Township.   I am also a Licensed Commercial Pilot, and have been resident of Port Sheldon since 2015.

Prior to being appointed as the Township Supervisor, I worked as the Building Official and Zoning Administrator for Port Sheldon.  This experience has been invaluable in my current role, allowing me to help residents navigate building codes, and zoning ordinances effectively.

My primary goal is to provide the best possible experience and level of customer service for every resident.  I see my role as a service to the community.  This service-oriented mindset defines my leadership style, which I described as "a servant" during my interview for the supervisor position.

My pledge is to serve my fellow residents and help lead the Township into the future.
